The Nike Air Force 1 "Four Horsemen" Receives a Release Date

Update: After being teased earlier this year, we now get an official release date for the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Four Horsemen,” paying tribute to Lebron James’ inner circle of business partners that include Rich Paul, Randy Mims, and Maverick Carter. Found the green and white hues of St. Vincent-St. Mary, James’ alma mater, the pairs feature a knight chess piece embroidered on the lateral heel counter and the initials of the four members displayed on the mismatched heel tabs. Look for the pairs to release on April 27th via Nike and select retailers for $140 USD

Original Story: Over the years, various iterations of the Nike Air Force 1 “Four Horsemen” have surfaced, celebrating Lebron James‘ close inner circle of business partners and friends which include Maverick Carter, Ernie Ramos, and Rich Paul. While previously reserved for a short list of friends and family, the AF1 “Horsemen” series, which was conceived in 2003, now sees a public release for the first time ever.

The upcoming pairs harken back to James’ early beginnings, dressed in the colors of his alma mater, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School where he established himself as the number 1 prospect in the country at the time. Uppers are found in tumbled leathers featuring a solid white base and green silver-lined Swooshes. Knight chess pieces featuring “4” lettering are embroidered on the heel counter and the team’s initials of “LR” and “MR” are etched on the heel tabs. Additional details include metallic silver lace dubraes and mismatched insole graphics. Rounding out the look are white midsoles incorporating muted “AIR” branding and green rubber outsoles.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Four Horsemen” is set to release this Spring via Nike and select retailers for $140 USD.
