Peacock has officially dropepd the trailer for Pete Davidson‘s upcoming Bupkis series.

The series is slated to be based on Davidson’s real life and features half-hour episodes. According to Variety, the show is to fictionalize Davidson’s life in a heightened manner. The plot is unfiltered and is said to have eight episodes, showcasing Davidson’s unique perspective of the world.

The trailer begins with a clip of tabloid headlines surrounding Davidson and cuts to the comedian saying, “I googled myself yesterday. People think I’m, like, a joke for some reason.” Immediately after, Davidson is joined by Joe Pesci in a diner, calling his on-screen grandson, “They think you’re a joke because you are a joke.” The trailer continues with a fast-paced montage of Davidson and his famous guest stars. Alongside Pesci are other comedic stars like Edie Falco, John Mulaney, Steve Buscemi, Bobby Cannavale, Ray Romano, Jon Stewart, Sebastian Stan, Kenan Thompson, and Machine Gun Kelly. It is uncertain if they will portray themselves or specific characters for the series.

Before Bupkis, Davidson’s credits include Bodies Bodies Bodies, The King of Staten Island and The Dirt. Lorne Michaels, the executive producer for SNL serves as an executive producer on Bupkis.
