Clown Around in Bottega Veneta's $1,400 USD Clown Shoes
Dubbed the “Helium Lace-Up Shoe.”
Building on the trend of exaggerated footwear silhouettes, Bottega Veneta has now introduced its take on classic clown shoes. Dubbed the “Helium Lace-Up Shoe,” the new model from the Italian luxury fashion house based in Milan is inspired by the costuming of the divisive comedic entertainers.
Bottega Veneta’s Helium Lace-Up Shoe are brushed leather derby-style shoes with a bulbous toe shape. Made in Italy, the footwear style features premium black calfskin uppers accented by matching stitching and laces. Additional detailing comes in the form of calfskin linings and “BOTTEGA VENETA” debossed leather insoles. Elevating the shoe are biodegradable leather sole units with 1.6-inch heels.
Priced at $1,400 USD, the Helium Lace-Up Shoe is available now in “Black” on Bottega Veneta’s website, locations, and at select retailers.
