C.P. Company is setting its sights on lessening the environmental effects of garment production with its SS23 SEED collection.

Freshly launched, the experimental offering from the Italian sportswear brand debuts a new series of laboratory trials committed to countering environmental costs. Specifically, the trials aim to reduce waste eliminations, shorten the production chain and promote circular manufacturing methods. Comprised of two parts, the first segment of the SS23 collection, SEED 1, looks at locally-grown fibers like nettle and hemp to enhance sportswear products. But the brand takes the usage a step further by blending the fibers with cotton for structured pieces like hoodies and t-shirts.

SEED 2 centers on the brand’s Eco-Chrome fabrics, which are crafted from recycled nylon fishing nets for a selection of utilitarian jackets, hoodies, crewneck sweaters and t-shirts. Whether it be SEED 1 or 2, the collection is washed in shades of slate gray and faded orange with subtle graphic detailing.

Ranging in price from $190 USD to $1,525 USD, C.P. Company’s SS23 SEED collection is available now online.
