Official Images of the Nike Air Max 90 G PLAYERS Championship Edition

So far this year, Nike has demonstrated a proclivity for using its Air Max Golf silhouettes to honor golf’s biggest tournaments, such as the AM1 G “Always Fresh,” or the AM90 G “Desert.” The brand has once again given the latter model a facelift for THE PLAYERS Championship in Florida, considered to sit alongside the four major championships as the biggest tournaments on the golf calendar.

With the official colors of the tournament being blue and gold, the accents of the sneaker are accordingly dressed up in the same hues, starting with the gold coin tongue logos, contrast stitching, gold bordered Swoosh and royal blue sock liner.

By contrast, the upper section is primarily made up of an interchange between neutral white and platinum. The former is used on the mid-foot and mudguards, while the latter covers the toe boxes, tongues, laces and quarter overlays. Wrapping up the highlights are the full-length overlays where a brush off effect reveals dancing palm trees and other flora, as well as the insoles which carry the same theme plus a logo which reads “Brush Off and Find the Hidden Treasure.”
