Since first opening its doors in the ‘70s, British retailer Browns has been a leading figure in sourcing global fashion labels. Over that time, the store has witnessed first-hand trends evolve from formalwear to more relaxed casual wear. This month HYPEBEAST spotlights the hottest sneaker drops arriving in-store and online — and luxury interpretations of classic silhouettes lead the pack.
Maison Margiela x Reebok
Continuing with their collaborative drops, Maison Margiela brings a luxury touch to Reebok’s classics. This collection sees the Club C get a luxe revamp with the brand’s signature Tabi toe cutting through the Classic Leather Tabi silhouette. Arriving in two red colorways, both styles feature a smooth leather upper with trompe l’oeil-style black printed detailing.
Following the sought-after Superstar collaboration,
Converse x Rick Owens DRKSHDW TURBOWPN
Following on from his take on the Chuck 70 for the TURBODRK, revered designer Rick Owens brings his bold style to the classic Converse Weapon. Marking the first time the silhouette gets reimagined to this level, the sneaker gets reconstructed with an elongated tongue, padded cuff as well as its outsole being doubled up — all paying homage to the designer’s exaggerated aesthetic. Given Owens’ affinity for dark hues, the sneaker arrives in the signature black and white colorway in a hi-top rounded off with DRKSHDW branding adorning the tongue.
UNDERCOVER x Nike Gyakusou ZoomX Vaporfly Next%
Heading the Nike Gyakusou imprint, Jun Takahashi merges his UNDERCOVER label with his affinity for running — recreating the ZoomX Vaporfly in true Takahashi fashion. Constructed from a water-resistant VaporWeave upper, sharp edges and prominent dual-branding decorate this high-performance sneaker.
