Following an initial teaser earlier this year and official reveal last week, we now have a closer look at the Rick Owens DRKSHDW x Converse TURBODRK Chuck 70 Ox.

Serving as one of two reimaginations of the classic footwear style by Rick Owens, the upcoming release is described by the designer as “distorting the ubiquitous.” Taking on a white canvas construction, the TURBODRK Chuck 70 Ox helps introduces a square toe grill inspired by the platform boots presented and personally worn by Owens in the past few seasons. The shoe also features extended tongues accented by co-branded tags that match the printed insoles and license plates found on the thicker platform-style soles that elevate the shoe.

The Rick Owens DRKSDHW x Converse TURBODRK Chuck 70 Ox also comes complete with a special shoebox that continues the branding elements that mark the collaboration, and is set to release alongside a High iteration globally on Converse and Rick Owens’ websites on July 27.
