Glenfiddich Debuts Opulent "Grande Couronne" Single Malt Whiskey
Aged 26 years in American and European oak casks.

Glenfiddich has just announced its latest addition to its Grand Series — the Grande Couronne.
The whiskey was aged for 26 years in American and European oak casks at the Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland, before being finished in French Cognac casks for two additional years.
Glenfiddich Malt Master, Brian Kinsman, comments:
The Grand Series perfectly encapsulates Glenfiddich’s spirit of innovation and our ability to experiment with aged liquid and intriguing finishes; Grande Couronne is the latest edition to exemplify that approach. It is the only Glenfiddich single malt that has matured in American and European oak casks and is finished in rare French Cognac casks for an unusually lengthy finish time of two years, which adds extra layers of sweet toasted oak and velvety aromas of café crème, brown sugar and soft spice.
This special edition whiskey has already been awarded a trophy medal at the 2021 International Spirits Challenge Design & Packaging Awards and joins Glenfiddich’s prized offerings from the Grand Series like the Grand Cru, Gran Cortes, and Gran Reserva.
Look for this bottle of whiskey at all select Glenfiddich stockists for a price of £450 GBP (approximately $620 USD).
