Givēon recently went on NPR Music‘s “Tiny Desk (Home) Concert” to deliver a medley of soulful hits.

The Long Beach native performed for over 14 minutes singing a number of tunes from his most recent project EP Take Time, alongside a few off-shoot tracks. Performing songs like “The Beach,” “Like I Want You” and “Stuck On You,” the artist and the accompanying band were dressed in all-black in honor of Black History Month — the set’s design displayed portraits of black creatives as well. Givēon posted the performance on Instagram, writing “even though the circumstances aren’t ideal, I’m so honored to do this @nprmusic Tiny Desk performance for you all. Happy Black History month.”
