Brad Pitt‘s latest action-thriller Bullet Train features a star-studded cast.

Sandra Bullock has reportedly been confirmed to join Pitt in the Sony Pictures‘ film. The project is momentous in the film industry as it marks the very first time the two Oscar winners have crossed paths on screen. The closest tie Bullock has had with Pitt on screen was in Ocean’s Eight.

The film is stacked with big names and is set to star Joey King, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Logan Lerman, Michael Shannon, Zazie Beetz, Masi Oka and Andrew Koji.

The film is based on the Japanese novel, Maria Beetle, by bestselling author Kotaro Isaka. Critically acclaimed director, David Leitch, has signed on to direct the film. Leitch previously directed a number of box office hits including, Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, Hobbs & Shaw.

Kelly McCormick is also set to produce Bullet Train, while Kat Samick and Brittany Morrissey are executive producing alongside Sony Pictures. The details of the plot have yet to be revealed and Bullock and Pitt’s roles in the films are still unknown.

In case you missed it, CW orders pilots for three projects including The Powerpuff Girls live-action reboot.
