Dior's Newest Atlas Sandal Launches in "Beige/Black"
Packaged with Dior’s signature Oblique Jacquard patterns and rope-like footbeds.

After essentially blowing everyone out of the water in 2020 with its Air Jordan 1 collaborations, Dior is just about ready to get back to its regularly scheduled programming this year and revert back to its usual mainline output of products. Following the unveiling of its Summer 2021 campaign, the French luxury house is now capturing our attention for its latest footwear offering — the Atlas Sandal.
If this pair looks somewhat familiar to you, that’s because Dior footwear designer Thibo Denis previewed these back in the Summer of 2020. Uppers are made with two main panels that mix between Oblique Jacquard patterns which sit directly above the bridge of the foot as well as suede layers on top. Warped panels on the mid-foot also contribute to its variety of textures. Buckled straps keep your foot locked down in three spots including the heel, mid-foot and toe boxes, and feature black/white and navy coloring.
Moving down to the sole unit, its semi-thick footbed is comprised of a rope-like layers stacked in a set of four, all of which are dyed to a solid black hue. An all-black outsole strings together its look, and comes decorated with white “DIOR” branding located on the forefoot.
Given that sandals are continuing to trend in the upward direction and it doesn’t seem as though the quarantine life will be ceasing anytime soon, it makes perfect sense as to why Dior would key in manufacturing more of these types of models.
Peep a closer look right here, and note that you can pick these up now via Dior for a lofty $1050 USD.
