Dior's Thibo Denis Offers Closer Look at SS21 Sandals
Beach-ready luxury.

Dior‘s senior shoe designer Thibo Denis has shown off the French luxury house’s Spring/Summer 2021 sandals on Instagram. The closer look comes after the label’s SS21 collection unveiling, ‘Portrait of an Artist,’ which was designed by Kim Jones and leaned on the works of the Ghanaian artist Amoako Boafo.
The rope-like sandals combine elements of beach attire with Dior’s expected level of luxury, thanks to the use of Oblique monogram prints, high-quality leathers and suedes, and meticulous attention to detail.
All pairs feature a rope-like footbed that has been lined with leather to make for a more comfortable wearing experience. The outsole is thin and is finished with Dior branding on the front-quarter towards the toe. One standout sandal is the beige, navy and Oblique-equipped pair, as it best highlights the Dior stamp on the mid-panel and the black grid section on the side.
Pairs feature two straps on the front and one at the rear, each sporting “CD” engraving on the buckles. Take a closer look at the Dior SS21 sandal collection in Thibo Denis’ pictures above.
