Custom-Built 1974 Ford Bronco Could Be Yours for $300,000 USD

Ford has just unveiled the brand-new Bronco, but for those looking for a hefty slice of vintage Americana, ClassicCars.com has listed a custom-built 1974 Ford Bronco for sale.

The 1974 model has been rebuilt inside-and-out by one of the U.S.’s leading Bronco builders, Velocity. A frame-off restoration means that the SUV was taken apart and refurbished, but also ensures that no stone has been left unturned in the process.

This immaculate example is finished in bright orange and white, tapping into the retro color schemes that frequented Broncos of this era. On the outside, you’ll find a set of 35” by 12.50” BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires that house 17” Pacer wheels, coming together to deliver optimum offroading capabilities and, once again, plenty of nostalgia.

Elsewhere, Velocity has added a set of LED headlights, chrome trims, and retractable power steps to make it easy to climb into the luxurious, custom leather front and rear interior. As mentioned, the inside has been completely overhauled too. There’s a Kicker sound system, a vintage air conditioning unit, and even a digital audio display, but nothing looks out of place as it’s still stripped back and typically retro inside.

Powering the 1974 Ford Bronco is a five-liter Coyote Crate engine — depending on which specification was chosen the 4×4 could be producing around 460 HP — while a 3.5’ lift suspension ensures you’ll be able to tackle all kinds of tough terrain.
