Certifications Suggest Apple iPhone 12 Has Smaller Battery Than iPhone 11
Despite higher battery demands.

According to reports, recent certifications are suggesting that the Apple iPhone 12 could have a smaller battery than iPhone 11.
Identified by the model numbers A2471 (Max, 5.4-inch), A2431 (Max/Pro, 6.1-inch) and A2466 (Pro Max, 6.7-inch), the batteries appeared on certification platforms, UL Demko, Safety Korea and 3C. Apple focused on improving the battery life with the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max with heavier and thicker batteries. The iPhone 11 Pro has a 3,046 mAh battery and the iPhone 11 Pro Max has a 3,969 mAh battery which is noticeably larger than the batteries spotted for the iPhone 12.

As the iPhone 12 series will face higher battery demands, insiders are expected Apple to develop an array of energy efficiency elements to allow for smaller sized batteries. All four upcoming devices are expected to feature OLED displays, 5G support, up to 6GB of RAM and triple-lens rear camera with 3D sensing.
