Following an inaugural sold-out release, The Weeknd and READYMADE have come together for a follow-up After Hours capsule, arriving exclusively at HBX. The latest limited-edition range builds on the psychedelic visual path established for the fourth studio album and celebrates the Canadian artist’s project spending a month at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
Throughout promotions for “Heartless,” “Blinding Lights” and “After Hours,” The Weeknd maintained a red-pigmented look centered around a bold red suit, big hairstyle and facial hair accented by dizzying distortions fueled by bright neon lights. Tapping the evocative enigmatic persona centered around the night fueled sonics of After Hours, The Weeknd and READYMADE have put together a long-sleeve and short-sleeve tie-dye T-shirt.
The special release is tied together by illustrations of The Weeknd set in front of the Las Vegas strip that echoes the album’s aesthetic. Leading the special range is the tie-dye option defined by a cartoon leaning centered around the Mercedes-AMG GT with the car also appearing framed by co-branding on the rear. The accompanying black long-sleeve is marked with a prowler themed exaggerated take on the artist and neon expressions of After Hours on the sleeves, while READYMADE branding is emblazoned on the rear.
The exclusive Weeknd x READYMADE After Hours capsule is set to be available for pre-order starting July 17, 9 a.m. EDT (for 48 hours only) to July 19, 9 a.m. EDT at HBX with six to eight weeks shipping.
