Adieu Crafts Buffed Calfskin Type 134 Boots
Featuring removable leather gaiters.
Adieu has crafted a modular pair of black leather boots. After collaborating with UNDERCOVER on a set of metal-plated dress shoes, the Parisian footwear label has delivered its Type 134, an ankle-hugging silhouette clad with removable leather gaiters.
Constructed with leather from France and Italy, the boots have been buffed with a glossy finish. Tall gaiters are placed at the top of the silhouette, supported by silver-toned rivets and toggle buttons that keep the extension in place. Adjustable twin belts appear at the medial side of the gaiters, complemented by a long vertical strap that wraps under the midsole to secure the gaiters’ structure. Slim black laces cover the forefoot, while the forefoot embodies a tightly woven moc-style toebox. All of these details rest atop a chunky rubber platform midsole that’s been molded to deliver the utmost comfort.
