NN.07 has teamed up with Fracap for their third collaborative footwear release. Built on heavy-duty Vibram soles for optimal grip, the rugged M127 boot silhouette preserves essential mountain features – including durable stitching, robust lacing systems, and weather-ready construction – while refining the upper with clean lines and pared-back proportions cut with the restraint of a tailored shoe. The result is a versatile boot that navigates switchbacks and city sidewalks with equal ease.
Three material treatments give the same construction distinct qualities. Brown Leather draws most directly from Fracap’s archive, with the press release describing its finish as worn-in and honest, emphasizing the boot’s traditional alpine character. Black Leather recasts the silhouette in a darker, cleaner treatment intended to feel more at home in the city, allowing the shape and hardware to read more sharply against the monochromatic upper.
The most textural option, Dark Grey Ponyhair, replaces smooth leather with a tactile, visibly directional surface; its charcoal-grey tone keeps the palette understated while the unexpected material pushes the rugged form toward a more fashion-led finish.
