Adieu and UNDERCOVER Team up for Metal-Plated Dress Shoes
With a shiny metal plate at the toecap.
Adieu and UNDERCOVER have teamed up for a brand new set of footwear for Spring/Summer 2020. Following its collaboration with Très Bien, the French footwear label has called in UNDERCOVER for a sleek take on metal-plated leather dress shoes — in colorways of “Black” and “Bordeaux.”
The silhouette comes with slimly molded uppers, complemented with skinny piping along the collars. Smooth buffed leather dominates the shoe’s uppers, accented with subtle details like thin top-stitching and round black laces. One distinctive design on the shoe is a shiny metal plate at the toecap — silver plating on the black pair and gold on the burgundy. As a final note, the shoe comes with a stacked midsole that’s edged at the top with a row of rubber pyramid studs, while a thin white crepe outsole offers added comfort and support.
UNDERCOVER and Adieu’s metal-plated dress shoes are currently available on Slam Jam and UNDERCOVER’s website for $1,390 USD.
