Ghostbusters Cast Reunite for YouTube Livestream
With Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Sigourney Weaver.
The original cast of Ghostbusters, Ivan Reitman’s 1984 hit comedy, will be reuniting on an upcoming YouTube livestream. The virtual reunion is the latest episode of Josh Gad’s ongoing series titled “Reunited Apart” that has previously brought together some of the cast from The Goonies, Lord of the Rings and Back to the Future, to name a few.
Gad teased the upcoming episode at the end of the most recent one, where he calls director Jason Reitman and pesters him to get his father Ivan on the line. Gad then anxiously asks whether the cast members of Ghostbusters will be inclined to take part in the next episode to which Ivan unexpectedly leaves it up to Annie Potts who hints at Gad that its possible. The livesteam will feature Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Sigourney Weaver. It will also be a fundraiser with proceeds going to Equal Justice Initiative.
The upcoming livestream of Reunited Apart is set to go on at 12 p.m. EDT, June 15 on Gad’s YouTube channel.
