London-based retailer LN-CC has released the first capsule from its “Late Night — Conscious Campaign” initiative. The project sees LN-CC partner with a range of luxury designers and labels to produce sustainable collections that also highlight issues faced by the wider fashion industry.

For the first release, LN-CC has partnered with Martine Rose for a collection themed around waste. All of the pieces are constructed from deadstock fabrics and off-cuts from Martine Rose’s studio, with a patchwork aesthetic running throughout. Arguably the stand-out item is the patchwork shirt, which comes in two different blue designs.

As well as the shirting, the “Late Night — Conscious Campaign” collection also sees Martine Rose construct tracksuits from upcycled cotton. The tracksuits come in yellow or two different blues, and feature a panelled construction and exposed seams.

To mark the launch, LN-CC has worked with spoken-word poet and activist Kai-Isaiah Jamal to produce a short film that will be released as part of this season’s virtual London Fashion Week.

Take a look at the “Late Night — Conscious Campaign” collection from Martine Rose above. All of the pieces are available now from the LN-CC web store.

In other fashion news, Copenhagen Fashion Week has announced its new format.
