Herschel Launches Reusable Face Masks to Support Frontline Workers
Part of the company’s “We’ve Got Your Back” initiative.
In light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, many companies and brands have stepped up to the occasion and contributed towards the fight against COVID-19, whether through financial donations or supplying medical equipment. Now, Canadian backpack and accessories maker Herschel is answering the call as well, launching its “We’ve Got Your Back” initiative.
As part of this initiative, Herschel has created three main avenues to help the cause. To begin with, the brand has now created a collection of non-medical face masks which are currently being sold on its website. Crafted from polyester and cotton, the masks come in a variety of colors and feature both a lightweight nose bridge for a better seal and adjustable straps for a more tailored fit. 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to numerous charities. Aside from masks, the company is now donating thousands of its bags and backpacks to health care facilities across North America — including the BC Women’s Hospital, NYC Langone Health, and the Columbia University Irving Medical Center — in aid of front line workers during their commute to and from work. Finally, the Candian brand will be partnering up with various schools to provide bags for students in need.
