Marvel Unlimited Spotlights Black Artists and Storytellers
Making a range of comics free to read online.
With the Black Lives Matter movement currently getting much-needed coverage, superhero comics and movies expert Marvel is now shining a spotlight on some of its Black writers and artists in support of the cause, as well as Black superheroes, making a full range of comic books free to read online for the rest of the month via its Marvel Unlimited digital service.
The titles feature a whole roster of legends including Black Panther, Ironheart, Shuri, and Deathlok, coming from storytellers and creatives such as Vita Ayala, Roxane Gay, Brian Stelfreeze, Method Man, Charlamagne tha God, and Ta-Nehisi Coates. “Black voices, creators, and characters are an intertwined part of Marvel history,” says Marvel. “These comics aim to celebrate their legacies, whether stretching back decades or just this year.”
