Adult Swim Announces Livestream 'Class of 2020 Commencement Speaker Series'
Providing inspiration to grads with the help of Eric Andre, Killer Mike, JB Smoove, and more.
With school closures plaguing the globe over the past several months, Adult Swim has taken note of the tumultuous times for students, especially for those graduating. To cope with these trying times, the late-night network has unveiled a new livestream show titled the Class of 2020 Commencement Speaker Series. Coming every Monday, Wednesday and Friday beginning May 18 until the end of graduation season, the network will feature unique personalities to deliver a communal commencement address meant to inspire and celebrate these individuals.
“Our featured speakers will avoid the insulting simplicity of year-end platitudes and instead provide refreshing insight to help every American clarify the challenges ahead and encourage transformative progress for all humankind. Or something,” Adult Swim shared in a press release. The first initial comedians and artists revealed the for the livestream series include Eric Andre, Run the Jewels’ Killer Mike, JB Smoove, Xavier from Xavier: Renegade Angel, Jena Friedman, Maria Bamford, and Carl Brutanandilewski.
Catch the Class of 2020 Commencement Speaker Series via Adult Swim’s app and YouTube channel at 8 p.m. EDT on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
