adidas UltraBOOST 5.0 DNA "Core Black/Cloud White" Plays With Patterns
Stripes, flecks, squares and more cover the shoe’s stretchy Primeknit upper.
Boasting all the UltraBOOST‘s beloved tech but geared towards the lifestyle consumer, adidas‘ UltraBOOST DNA has now surfaced in a “Core Black/Cloud White” colorway. When most adidas Running fans see the “Core Black/Cloud White” combo, they’re dispositioned to assume it’ll be a clean, straightforward silhouette. Here however, the traditional mixture of black and white is given a healthy dose of flair thanks to the inclusion of multiple patterns.
Stretchy Primeknit uppers made partially of the Trefoil’s sustainable PRIMEBLUE material seem to denote each part of their build with a different arrangement: the forefoot supplies a flecked look split by two wavy stripes, the midfoot uses standard horizontal stripes and the heel offers a a collection of squares.
All of these pieces are bolstered by a black Three Stripe midfoot cage and a heel clip with debossed branding, each built from a black textile instead of their standard TPU construction. Tongues are done up in tonal black as well, and boast one final adidas graphic. Down below, white BOOST midsoles and black Continental rubber outsoles round off the look.
The adidas UltraBOOST 5.0 DNA “Core Black/Cloud White” will release via the adidas webstore February 10, and is priced at a standard $180 USD.
