Dior is bringing back the DIOR AND RIMOWA carry-on suitcase, its aluminum collaboration with the German luggage specialist, for a November 2026 return. The cabin-sized case keeps the formula that made it a standout the first time: a full RIMOWA aluminum body printed with the house’s geometric “Dior Oblique” pattern, now offered in black and a gradient blue.
The most distinctive detail is the finish. Rather than applying a flat print, Dior and RIMOWA anodize the aluminum, an electrochemical treatment that gives the Oblique pattern a softly aged, vintage look across the shell. A DIOR AND RIMOWA metal plate sits on the case as a co-branded signature, and the wheels carry a CD stamp on RIMOWA’s Multiwheel system for a quieter nod to the house.
The case measures 53 x 38 x 23 centimeters (21 x 15 x 9 inches), sized for overhead bins, with a 35-liter capacity and a weight of 4 kilograms (about 9 pounds). The main body pairs aluminum with PVC, and the lining combines polyester, rubber and brass. Four wheels and a telescopic handle handle the rolling, while retractable grab handles on the top and side make lifting it into a cabin easier.
Inside, a flexible partition system splits the interior so packed items stay separated. Two TSA-approved locks secure the case, and it can be carried upright or on its side. Each suitcase ships with a dust bag.
The suitcase first appeared as part of Dior’s Summer 2022 menswear collection, where it moved the Oblique monogram from canvas bags onto a hard-shell travel piece. Dior put it back on shelves in 2023, and this latest run marks another chance at a piece that has stayed in demand since its runway debut.
The DIOR AND RIMOWA carry-on suitcase arrives in November 2026 at Dior boutiques and the Dior online boutique, and both colorways are available for pre-order now on Dior’s US site.
