Closer Look at the ACRONYM x Nike Blazer Low "Night Maroon"
The Swoosh’s classic lifestyle model is reworked with neon accents and a technical heel counter.

It’s been three years since we last saw Errolson Hugh and Nike join forces to launch an impressive collection of Air Prestos. One can make the argument that sneakerheads have an appetite for more team-ups from these two parties, and it just so happens that they’re about to get more offerings in 2022. A couple of ACRONYM x Nike Blazer Low collaborations are on deck, one being a bold “Night Maroon” colorway.
The Nike Blazer Low is traditionally designed with a minimalistic feel, but Hugh certainly finds a way to apply his signature technical design language and revamp this silhouette with a blend of materials and accessories. Instead the the usual leather upper, he opts for smooth suede toe boxes and side panels that are dialed to its titular hue and distressed at various points. Black overlays and laces are present down the throat and come seated next to a fluorescent orange tongue. Additional details on the base layer to note include the vivid neon Swooshes and interior linings, ACRONYM branding on the interior of the tongues, the hanging silver dog tag and the aggressive heel counter that color-blocks between lilac and black tones.
The shoes will also come housed in a special box that is styled with all-over black and white diamond patterns along with red Nike and ACRONYM branding. No release date has been announced just yet, but you can likely expect these to drop in the coming months.
