Take a First Look at the ACRONYM x Nike Blazer Low "Night Maroon"
Spotted on MMA fighter Max Holloway.
Teased with a rendering earlier this year, the ACRONYM x Nike Blazer Low “Night Maroon” has been spotted on none other than Former UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway and reported to release sometime this season along with a yellow, black and white edition. Errolson Hugh’s brand continues to develop its longstanding partnership with the sportswear powerhouse as they released a multitude of collaborations such as the Air Presto Mid trio, Air VaporMax Moc 2, Lunar Force 1 and more.
The MMA fighter took to Instagram to debut the Munich-based brand’s latest installment which suggests the classic low-top silhouette taking on a futuristic treatment. While deconstructed details have been a theme of numerous designs lately, this offering takes it up a notch with the uppers sporting a dark maroon base showcasing laser cutouts with a Lemon Venom hue hitting the main lateral Swoosh and liner. The tongue prefers a fluorescent pink shade laced over in black through matching eyestays. In the same stark hue, the heel cap attachment is bolted down with a supporting lavender piece in a mecha-like outfit over a dim gray rubber outsole.
Look out for the ACRONYM x Nike Blazer Low “Night Maroon” to release at select retailers and via Nike’s website for $120 USD this fall.
