Nike and the Kobe Bryant estate are reportedly expanding the Mamba footwear lineup with the Nike Air Force 1 Low Protro “Dodgers.” The upcoming release bridges Bryant’s basketball legacy with Los Angeles baseball culture.
The pair channels the Los Angeles Dodgers’ road uniforms with a predominantly Wolf Grey upper complemented by Rush Blue highlights. The retooled Air Force 1 Low Protro features a smooth upper while the heel features Bryant’s No. 8 in Dodgers blue. The blue carries on to the tongue branding as well as the Kobe Bryant branding on the midsole. Additional red stitchin is seen on the overlay are remniscent of those seen on a baseball.
