Working Class Heroes Showcases Holubar FW21 Best Bits
Including the iconic orange jacket worn by De Niro in ‘The Deer Hunter.’

Working Class Heroes has an eye for outerwear. Whether it’s Norse Projects, Arc’teryx or Uniform Bridge, the menswear store knows its stuff. This week the Cumbria-based outfit took Holubar’s Fall/Winter 2021 for a spin in the English countryside, most notably the epochal Deer Hunter Jacket, a garment made famous after it was worn by Robert De Niro in Michael Cimino’s The Deer Hunter.
Founded in 1946, by mountaineers Roy and Alice Holubar, the pair’s eponymous brand has become renowned for its high quality mountaineering and specialist equipment. From sleeping bags and down vests, or waterproof smocks and backpacks, there isn’t much the Colorado-founded brand doesn’t know.
Holubar has updated its Deer Hunter Jacket for FW21, dousing it in shades of “Military Olive” and blue, as well as the iconic orange colorway. A shorter take in “Deep Green” and, again, orange, also makes an appearance, as does a warm fleece liner dubbed the Florida Shirt.
The full Holubar FW21 collection is available to buy now from the Working Class Heroes webstore.
