Young Nudy Returns With His Latest "All White" Single and Visual
Nudy’s latest release since his ‘Anyways’ project earlier this year.
Young Nudy delivered his underrated 16-track project Anyways at the top of the year, a release that continued to show his consistency with smart storytelling over smooth instrumentals like “Understanding” and murky experimentation in the form of “No Go”. Now the East Atlanta rapper is back with “All White.”
The Mahd McLaren production borders on industrial with glitches hitting in the backdrop while Nudy waxes about new Air Force 1s, packed zip-lock bags and fish-scales. The music video, directed by iNightLyfe and the rapper keeps things simple, filmed while laying low in Atlanta. Young Nudy keeps things blunt and to the point throughout, rapping, “And I got fish on the scale, for real/ Smell like a nail shop when you come in here/ Nothin’ but the brick talk when you get here.”
Anwyays built on the momentum established from last year’s Sli’merre collaboration with Pi’erre Bourne and Faded In The Booth. Both made a firm argument that the prolific rapper is a legitimate star-in-the-making. That was all solidified once he caught the ear of J. Cole and was a featured artist on the GRAMMY Nominated Revenge of the Dreamers III.
