Following the release of its 1/16 single pack earlier this week with new material from Ari Lennox and EarthGang, hip-hop label collective Dreamville has now dropped the deluxe version of its Grammy-nominated compilation project, Revenge of the Dreamers III. Loaded with 12 new tracks from the crew — including Ari Lennox, EarthGang, Bas, J.I.D., Cozz, Lute, Omen, and Elite — the project sees cameos from 6LACK, Vince Staples, Smino, Saba, Dreezy, Guapdad 4000, Childish Major, Reason, and more.
Last November, Dreamville president Ibrahim Hamad announced that a deluxe version of the project was on its way, which makes sense considering the recording sessions for the project resulted in 142 tracks. Founder and frontman J. Cole doesn’t appear on the deluxe version’s tracks, most likely due to him prepping the release of his latest solo album The Fall Off, which is projected to release later this year. He will also be hosting his second annual Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina, on April 4.
