Watch Big Sean Meditate and Levitate in His New "ZTFO" Music Video
“Zen’d the f*ck out.”
Big Sean tapped back in with his hometown roots on his latest full-length album Detroit 2 and earned his third consecutive No. 1 Billboard debut. Today he returns in a meditative trance for his “ZTFO” music video, which stands for “Zen’d the f*ck out.”
“ZTFO” marks the midway-point of Sean’s latest album-length journey and utilizes some Travis Scott ad-libs throughout, but it’s one of the rare feature-less tracks on the star-studded project. Scott did make a cameo for the “Lithuania” music video though.
Last week Big Sean announced that he’ll be starting his own record label after spending the majority of his career within Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D. Music collective. He also explained how his Dave Chappelle collaboration happened. “You know, so when I told Dave I was working on the album for Detroit, he was like, ‘Bro, not only will I do the skit, I’ll come out and do a show with you. You know, I’ll come out and support you just ’cause I believe in you.’ You know, so I appreciate him for being on that level of humility still when he is who he is, you know,” the rapper detailed.
Whether Sean’s levitating socks and Jesus piece on, or bare-foot in his manicured courtyard at dusk, we can all agree that some stillness is needed during the ongoing coronavirus quarantines.
