Masego Delivers Refreshing New Single "Passport"
Off his forthcoming concept EP.
Masego has officially dropped off “Passport,” the newest offering from his forthcoming and still-untitled project.
Produced by D’Mile, “Passport” hears the 27-year-old artist enjoying life as a jet-setter, exploring new places and immersing himself in the culture. Masego even shows off his Japanese for a little bit, singing in the language as he talks of eating sushi and drinking another round of saké.
The upcoming project is billed as “a concept EP and his most refreshing interpretation of traphouse-jazz yet.” Masego will explore every aspect of a relationship from beginning to end, and will exhibit a new and reflective side of the artist brought upon by the sudden halt of his whirlwind touring life. As he takes this time to look inward, the EP will show his evolution both in terms of production choice and collaborative partners.
Stream Masego’s “Passport” on Spotify and Apple Music. In other music news, André 3000 recounted a story of how he could have died as a child.
