Vault By Vans has mashed more than half a dozen classic Vans silhouettes together for a new “Cut and Paste” pack. Using pieces of the Sk8-Hi, Old Skool, Era, Authentic, Half Cab, Slip-On, Rowley and MTE line, the pack’s finished products — dubbed the Cap Mash Hi and Cap Mash Lo — look like high-concept DIY experiments come to life or a “sneaker collage.” However, under the artfully jumbled build lies a clever concept and a key attention to detail.

The Cap Mash Hi offer an above-ankle upper that’s equal parts Sk8-Hi and Half Cab, with the forefoot dressed in an Authentic-style shape. Meanwhile, the Cap Mash Lo uses an Old Skool as the base and works in Era-adjacent details. Midsoles on both pairs mix multiple toolings, and lugged outsoles appear to pull from the MTE line. Each also supplies a duo of layered tongue options, ranging from the Rowley to the Sk8-Hi and more.

Vault by Vans’ “Cut and Paste” pack is available now at retailers like BILLY’s Tokyo. The Cap Mash Hi is priced at ¥16,500 JPY (approximately $157 USD) and the Cap Mash Lo arrives at ¥ 15,400 JPY (approximately $147 USD). Both prices are tax-included.

Elsewhere, COMME des GARÇONS PLAY and Converse have restocked their ever-popular Chuck 70 collaboration.
