SANKUANZ Debuts Colorful Chunky Sneakers From SS20 Runway Show
As seen at Paris Fashion Week last year.

This time last year, the Chinese label SANKUANZ took to Paris Fashion Week to present its Spring/Summer 2020 collection, and now the brand has dropped two pairs of low top sneakers as spotted on the runway.
SANKUANZ has made a name for itself for its often left-field footwear offerings. For example, the Shangguan Zhe-helmed imprint has previously offered chunky sneaker protectors, a very bold collaboration with PUMA, and more recently, a basketball collection with adidas.
However, for its own sneakers, SANKUANZ takes a slightly less daring approach than usual. There are elements of basketball shoes and the tried-and-testing chunky sneaker formula in this low top pair, thanks to its wide track and inclusion of padding around the collar.
The sneaker appears in either white-and-blue, or in white with green, orange, and neon yellow accents. It has a layered, multi-textile upper that combines leather with technical mesh, foam, plastic, and rubber, and features plenty of signature SANKUANZ design cues such as large branding at the heel and pops of neon or metallic silver all around.
SANKUANZ’s sneaker is complete with a two-tone sole unit that’s chunky, dog-toothed and branded at the front-quarter. Take a look at the SANKUANZ sneaker in both colorways above, and pick up your favorite from Browns now for $411 USD each.
In other news, Off-White™ has released a new skateboarding-inspired sneaker.
