deadmau5 and The Neptunes‘ collaborative track “Pomegranate” from two months ago has been refreshed with new animated visuals.

Measuring at a little under three and a half minutes, the song features vocals by Pharrell behind a midtempo electronic groove that’s inflected with a retro R&B feel. Subtle elements of funk and disco are imbued in the track, recurring sounds characteristic of Neptunes’ production style. The video features 3D animation of a series of characters wearing big round helmets modeled off deadmau5’s signature mouse head, except in the shape of other animals like pigs, ducks, dolphins and rabbits, to mention a few, taking journeys through sweet candy-colored digital universes on flying vehicles.

Scroll above for a look at deadmau5 and The Neptunes’ new music video for “Pomegranate.”

In case you missed it, Pharrell and The Neptunes have been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
