MEANSWHILE has just introduced a new piece of outerwear for this current season. The inventive jacket is part of a “kuchofuku” series of outerwear — meaning “air-conditioned clothing” and uses twin electric fan technology to keep you cool during hot and humid weather.
While the fan jacket is not the newest form of outerwear technology, this Air Circulation System Rain Jacket combines the added functionality of being completely water and rainproof due to its 3-Layer breathable nylon ripstop fabric. The jacket also converts into a vest and can be adjusted for a tighter fit with one hand.
Priced at ¥80,000 JPY ($745 USD) the MEANSWHILE Air Circulation System Rain Jacket will be available at Isetan Men’s Department store in Shinjuku, Tokyo from July 8 – 14 via a special pop-up on the 7th floor.
