lululemon’s Clean-Cut Outerwear Collection Arrives at Zalando

Just in time for the new season, sportswear label lululemon brings its technically built outerwear to Zalando. The latest collection applies the label’s refined blueprint to functional styles, giving coats and jackets a versatile edge for everyday wear.

With puffer jackets often adopting large silhouettes, lululemon provides a unique alternative through an array of sleeker shapes. Helping to achieve this aesthetic, the label incorporates innovative insulating materials to keep silhouettes tailored while ensuring warmth and weatherproofing.

In the Featherweight line, a noticeably weightless feel encompasses outerwear. Made with 900-fill-power RDS-certified down, coats are able to lock in heat with the addition of cinchable cuffs and hems. The material also offers unique compressibility so tall collars can be folded over, or the entire coat packed away in a removable sack.

Among its short and long-length styles, the Mac coat becomes the defining piece of the ThermoZen line. Appearing at first as a smart jacket, the new design proposes a cozy feel with PrimaLoft® Gold insulation. Enhancing the stylish design, lululemon kits out the coat with two-way zippers, a zippered hand, and internal pockets.

Elsewhere, the Wunder Puff line builds on its previous silhouettes, introducing new bomber-style cuts and vests. Like the aforementioned Featherweight pieces, outerwear comes to life with RDS-certified down, while the outer SoftMatteTM shell attributes a water-repellent quality to drop-waist pieces.

For the launch of the new collection, the label’s ambassador collective is captured in a street-level campaign. They show how performance outerwear can adapt to different looks, reinforcing the everyday focus of the range.
