Brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence, better known the world over as GRAMMMY-nominated production duo Disclosure, have returned with the third single from their upcoming studio album ENERGY out August 28. Dubbed “Douha (Mali Mali)”, Disclosure continues to collaborate with rising international talent, this time reaching out to Malian singer-songwriter Fatoumata Diawara for vocal duties.

The two first previewed the track in an April Boiler Room: Streaming From Isolation performance. The new single follows “My High” featuring slowthai and Aminé and the introduction to the new project, “ENERGY” complete with a surreal music video that has to be seen to be believed.

The “Douha (Mali Mali)” video was shot in three countries and nine locations in total including Como, Italy, Johannesburg, South Africa and New York. Each city was filmed with separate crews following rigid safety guidelines given the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. “Right now, all over the world, we’re going through an incredibly strange time. I wanted to make something that was visually beautiful, but also felt symbolic of what we’re all going through,” director Mahaneela said of the visual. “People feel more isolated than ever and I wanted to create something joyful that really shows the power music and movement has and the connectivity it brings.”

In more music updates, Raekwon is celebrating the 25th anniversary of his legendary debut studio album Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… with an instrumental reissue vinyl release.
