With another week upon us, we have yet another installment of our product drops series. Leading the list is a special re-release of Supreme and Barbour‘s successful Spring 2020 collaboration.
Other notable collaborations this week come in the form of BAPE‘s celebration of the 40th anniversary of Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and The Hundreds‘ Back to the Hundreds II collection. Staying on the pop culture focus is BAIT‘s celebration of basketball with Charles M. Schulz‘s Peanuts and CARNIVAL‘s Naruto Shippuden capsule. The Off-White™ c/o Virgil Abloh “OFF ACTIVE” and the NUBIAN x Jun Inagawa Magical T-Shirt serve to round up this week’s drops.
Off-White™ c/o Virgil Abloh “OFF ACTIVE”
Expanding its reach to cover the boundaries between sport, fashion and art, Virgil Abloh‘s Off-White™ label has now launched its performance line, “OFF ACTIVE.”
Merging styles and aesthetics, the menswear and womenswear utilize technical fabric and garment construction, exclusively made for functionality. Core items include sweatshirts, active tops, sports bras, shorts, leggings and socks expressing a bold color palette. Rounding up the inaugural range are gym bags embossed with the official OFF ACTIVE logo, along with similarly marked a duffle and drawstring bag.

Back to the Future II x The Hundreds “Back to the Hundreds II” Collection
Following their 2015 collaboration, The Hundreds has returned with another Back to the Hundreds collection.
Building on founder Bobby Hundreds‘ lifelong adoration of Robert Zemeckis’ beloved film franchise, the special release is an extensive range of thematic wearables and faithful recreations of garments worn by protagonists Marty McFly and “Doc” Brown. Standouts include the wild socks worn by Brown and a mixed-material jacket that faithfully recreates McFly’s signature outerwear. Finishing up the collaboration are playful “Back to the Hundreds II” T-shirts that mark the second team-up and reference the second film in the franchise.

Naruto Shippuden x CARNIVAL Capsule
Bangkok retailer CARNIVAL has dipped back into the anime realm with its latest Naruto Shippuden collaboration. Comprised of hoodies, shirts, T-shirts, caps and shoulder bags, leading the capsule are CARNIVAL Logo Hoodies that play off of the color schemes of Kakashi Hatake, Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha.
Other standouts include a short sleeve shirt that utilizes the pattern found on the black cloaks with red clouds warn by the Akatsuki, Shadow Clone Jutsu “C” Crewneck Sweater and a T-shirt marked with a print of Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage of Konoha. Rounding up the special range is a tote bag, shoulder bag and iPhone 11 case expressing a scene of Naruto and Sasuke charging towards one another with their Rasengan and Chidori attacks.

Peanuts x BAIT Basketball Collection
Continuing to deliver releases, BAIT has dropped a new capsule collection featuring the iconic characters from Charles M. Schulz‘s Peanuts. This time around, BAIT along with the Peanuts characters are celebrating the sport of basketball with the release of graphic T-shirts, hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, shorts, and gym bags.
One graphic utilizes the popular “ball is life” tagline and flips it with a reverse “life is ball” graphic of Snoopy shooting a basketball into a dog dish fixed to his dog house. The opposite side shows Linus van Pelt shooting a basketball into a shopping cart. Another playful graphic borrows cues from the Los Angeles Lakers’ logo for a “PLAYERS” tee graphic where all the colorful characters are participating in the game.

NUBIAN x Jun Inagawa Magical T-Shirt
Lauded Japanese artist Jun Inagawa has now prepared an exclusive for Tokyo retailer, NUBIAN.
The exclusive T-shirt style introduces a new Magical Girl character inspired by Lady Justice framed by a ring of fire bolts of power and a “MAGICAL” banner that plays off of Metallica’s iconic motif. Available in “Black” and “White,” the exclusive T-shirts feature a distinct vintage wash for a worn-in look.

Supreme x Barbour Spring 2020 Collaboration Restock
Following a major release, Supreme and Barbour‘s successful Spring 2020 collaboration is now set for a restock.
The team-up sees Barbour’s signature lightweight waxed cotton material utilized for the construction of a waist bag, crusher hat, camp cap, and the spotlighted field jacket that is inspired by the Bedale, all of which come in a bold leopard print, traffic-stopping orange, or a staple black.

Anti Social Social Club FW20 Collection
Anti Social Social Club has now prepared its FW 2020 collection, titled “I Wish I Was Wrong.”
The upcoming seasonal range 0f streetwear essentials are dominated by bold colors and marked with loud, fun and emotional graphics. As always the garment offerings are accompanied by accessories like an all-over logo print cap, glitter jelly slides, sleeping mask, bike chain and backpack which looks to tease another collaboration with Hysteric Glamour.

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back 40th Anniversary x BAPE Collection
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, BAPE has prepared a playful apparel and figure collection.
Lead by a lineup of T-shirts that incorporate some of the brand’s signature motifs, styles include a camo print that expresses Star Wars logo and Darth Vader’s helmet respectively. BAPE’s electric “STA” icon has also been fused with the film’s iconic poster, while the franchise’s staple characters are designed with the MILO touch. Rounding up the special range is a collaboration with Medicom Toy which resulted in colorful BE@RBRICK and VCD figures that pay homage to Boba Fett.
