Dame Time.

Damian Lillard is officially one of the three cover athletes of the upcoming NBA 2K21. The Portland Trail Blazer guard will be the game cover for the PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch consoles.
“Being on the cover of @nba2k is a dream come true,” he wrote on Twitter. “I’ve been playing 2K since the Dreamcast days! Hyped to be the #NBA2K21 Current Gen Cover Athlete.”
The 29-year-old is the first Trail Blazer to ever grace the cover of NBA 2K. Lillard has had quite an impressive professional basketball career; he was the sixth overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft, unanimously won Rookie of the Year and is a five-time NBA All-Star. In addition to basketball, he also raps under the name Dame D.O.L.L.A, releasing tracks like “Blacklist” and the Pusha T-assisted “Check the Scoreboard.”
The two remaining cover athletes, who will be on the PS5 and Xbox Series X game covers and Legends edition, will be announced later this week. NBA 2K21 is available for pre-order on July 2 and drops October 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The release for the PS5 and Xbox Series X is still unknown.
