The rapper heads to Jamaica for Part 1 of his new documentary.
Fresh off the release of his new “WUNNA” single from his upcoming sophomore album WUNNA, Atlanta superstar Gunna has premiered the first part of his documentary in partnership with Amazon Music. In the eight-minute visual, director Spike Jordan gives a detailed glimpse into the creation of the album, following Gunna to his Jamaica compound to collaborate with numerous producers like Turbo, Wheezy, and Frank Dukes.
The WUNNA Documentary Part 1 also serves as a preview of what’s to come with snippets of a number of upcoming songs through brief performance shots in exotic locales. Some of the footage was already featured in the original trailer and “SKYBOX” visual.
Gunna has remained busy throughout the past year, balancing countless features with the creation of his highly-anticipated project. Over the past month he’s connected with Peruvian-born, New York City-raised singer A.CHAL for “Hollywood Love,” reconnected with frequent collaborators Young Thug and Turbo for “Quarantine Clean” and assisted Nav and Travis Scott for the “Turks” music video.
