Trippie Redd and Young Thug Are NSFW Claymation Adventurers in "YELL OH" Music Video
Hallucinations, gunfights and diamonds.
Trippie Redd continues his streak of dynamic music videos with a new clip for “YELL OH” directed by in-demand claymation artist William Child. Redd and Young Thug hit the road in the video, experiencing a host of appropriately trippy scenarios.
Child has partnered with Redd before, since working with Emotional Oranges and PARTYNEXTDOOR for more stylized videos. The “YELL OH” clip puts imagery to the A Love Letter To You 4 deluxe track, sending Redd and Young Thug from a strip club to a diamond mine to Slattdonald’s, eventually surviving a shootout with the authorities and some nightmarish creatures.
Notably, the clip begins with a text warning, likely in reference to Redd’s pledge to quit drugs. “The concept of this video is to illustrate the various nightmares that result from the illicit use of drugs,” it reads. “The portrayal of drugs is intended to highlight the negative consequences associated with fetishizing drug addictions. We are by no means promoting the illicit use of drugs.

Most recently, Young Thug lent his talents to Turbo and Gunna’s self-isolation single, “Quarantine Clean.”
