Ari Lennox Delivers New Vividly Sensual "BUSSIT" Visual
From the Deluxe Edition of ‘Revenge of the Dreamers III.’
Ari Lennox rounded out March with a surprising return, tapping Doja Cat and Smino for her Shea Butter Baby Remix EP. It was an upbeat record needed now more than ever with the current isolation and quarantines. Now the Dreamville singer-songwriter returns with a vibrant new visual directed by Tajana B. Williams for her standout Revenge of the Dreamers III: Deluxe Edition track “BUSSIT.”
The music video is an all-female ensemble full of makeup tutorials, mimosas, floral arrangements and some sensual choreography. Ari’s songwriting is in top form here too, dripped with neo-soul and addicting melodies reminiscent of 90’s R&B ballads. “Have off my clothes when you arrive/ You could seduce me with your eyes/ Don’t want the smoke don’t waste my time/ I be open for you…” she sings in the opening verse.
Ari has kept busy in the early goings of 2020, teaming up with Bas for “Amnesia” and Kiana Ledé for the FaceTime-inspired “Chocolate” video.
