After teasing a remix of The Weeknd’s chart-topping single “Blinding Lights” earlier this month, Diplo and his dancehall-fueled supergroup Major Lazer have released their official remix of the After Hours highlight. As is expected, the reworked track is filled with Major Lazer’s infusion of dancehall and reggaeton, flipping the heartbreak anthem on its head with some renovated dancefloor flavor.
The Toronto R&B superstar is currently sitting at the top of the Billboard 200 charts with After Hours, which is spending its third consecutive week at the No. 1 spot. Just earlier today, The Weeknd bolstered the album’s run with a surprise “Heartless” remix visual alongside Lil Uzi Vert, which follows last week’s visual for “Until I Bleed Out.”
