Moonstar Drops Rustic Checkerboard Jikatabi K and Gym Court K
Made in Japan with Kurume Kasuri cloth.

Moonstar has unveiled new checkerboard iterations of its Jikatabi K and Gym Court K silhouettes. Following its collaboration with FENDI or 3.1 Phillip Lim, this new release sees a more rustic design concept, using special Kurume Kasuri cloth from Japan.
Both shoes come with a clean white and navy checkerboard pattern. The textured cloth has been detailed with rich indigo dyes, complemented by contrasting top-stitching. As its name denotes, the Jikatabi K comes with a split tabi toe that’s been reinforced with an extra toecap panel. The silhouette sees a high-cut build with cream-colored interiors, while its half-circle stitches at the rear midfoot round up the design. In contrast, the Gym Court K sports white laces and a two-toned rubber midsole, offering a silhouette that’s a more classic American alternative.
The Moonstar checkerboard Jikatabi K and Gym Court K are currently available on the label’s website for $140 USD.
