Fendi Joins Moonstar for Garden-Inspired SS20 Shoe Collection
Two silhouettes arrive in earthy brown, green and ivory colorways.

Fendi has joined Japanese shoe brand Moonstar for its Men’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Well-known for its traditional techniques used to craft its vulcanized rubber outsoles, Moonstar offers a selection of sneaker silhouettes designed for all-weather wear, conveying breezy pragmatism though an emphasis on functionality and utility.
Drawing upon Fendi’s SS20 idea of the garden as a source of inspiration and symbol of a man’s most sophisticated relationship with nature, the collection features high-tops and trainers in brown, military green, black and ivory colorways. Each all-weather shoe boasts a waterproof rubber lining as a base and a sturdy, waterproof shell around the canvas upper. The house’s iconic FF monogram logo and Pequin striped motif cover the earthy-toned shoes, while Fendi and Moonstar co-branding adorn the insoles.
Retailing between $690 and $890 USD, the low-top and high-top shoes are available to purchase now on Fendi’s website.
In other news, Maison Margiela crafted a classic low-top sneaker for its latest split-toe silhouette.
