WTAPS Refines Military & Workwear Inspirations for SS20
From oversized field jackets to elongated parkas.

WTAPS is back with its brand new SS20 lookbook presenting an expansive lineup of military and workwear-inspired staples for the warmer months of the year. This showcase follows the previous FW19 collection which saw an assemblage of thick winter layers and a bevy of hi-tech silhouettes.
Spanning logo hoodies, hi-tech parkas, oversized field jackets, cardigans, button-ups, cargo pants, short-sleeve shirts, striped polos, long-sleeves and shorts, the assemblage sees Tetsu Nishiyama‘s distinctive design sensibilities come to life. One noteworthy piece is a long black parka embellished with a slew of graphics. The piece sees a loose construction that comes with slightly dropped shoulders and raised collars. Detailed on both sleeves is a rich camo print, accented by a solid black arm patch compartment, while WTAPS’ recurring coordinates motif appears near the back hem.
Another highlight is a color-blocked ski jacket that was made with Helly Hansen. Coming with an oversized raglan construction, the piece boasts a dark green palette along the upper panels of the jacket, appearing around the chest and all over the sleeves. The garment comes with raised collars and a packable hood, while bold co-branding is applied to a bright orange square label at the left arm. Other pieces in the collection like the camo M65-inspired jacket, nylon logo crewneck, olive vest, checkered pants, half-zip pullovers and other accessories like bucket hats and white tube socks round up the expansive assemblage.
WTAPS’ SS20 collection is currently available at the label’s website, ranging from $92 – $593 USD.
