WTAPS' FW19 Collection Tweaks Casual American Staples With Utilitarian Designs
From thick fur jackets to quilted BDU pants.

WTAPS has released its FW19 lookbook, following up its previous SS19 collection with a round of loose-fitting streetwear staples imbued with utilitarian designs.
The lineup sees a dynamic assemblage of layering pieces that range from thick fur jackets and puffers to military-inspired garments like quilted BDU pants and multi-pocketed combat shirts. WTAPS’ signature color palettes like light olive, brown, grey and black are joined by more vivid tones in the form of 3M stripes, indigo, beige camo and blue-green plaids.
One standout piece is a fireman’s jacket-inspired W51 parka, accented with bold neon stripes and reflective detailing. “WTVUA” is boldly emblazoned at the back, while large flap pockets at the front and silver-tone hardware top off the garment. Another highlight is the Incubate half-zip pullover, made up of a deep acid-dyed exterior. Velcro straps are placed down the collar, complemented by four chest pockets located just above thick drawstrings at the waist. Other pieces like billowing denim jackets, quilted crewnecks, corduroy trousers, padded vests and light cardigans present a refined approach to cold-weather necessities.
