After an Air Max 95 “Alien” descended from the cosmos earlier this week, Nike Sportswear has brought extraterrestrial stylings to the Air Max 270 React ENG and React Presto. Joining their space-age counterpart in using bright colors, bold prints and popular tech, each of these “Alien” styles is loaded with special details.

First up is the 270 React ENG. Making full use of a silhouette that already looks like it’s straight out of a sci-fi flick, this “Alien” makeup uses a black synthetic base with wavy, hypnotizing red and black overlays plus hot red tongue and heel tabs. Pops of orange are present on the midfoot Swoosh and tongue toggle, with a sprinkling of metallic silver gracing eyestays and heels alike. Down below, midsoles combine soft white React foam and a hot red Air Max 270-style heel cushioning unit.

Meanwhile, the React Presto offers a cloudy white and blue print on the entirety of its upper’s base layer. This is embellished with what appears to be a glow-in-the-dark midfoot cage, dotted rope laces and supple suede overlays — mango on the collar, warm red on the heel. Small black and red Swooshes are dispersed throughout. A touch of iridescent material appears under the hi-vis reflective heel tab, and chunky React midsoles with two-tone outsoles provide a finishing touch.

Although both pairs may be vastly divergent in their styles, each is brought together by a grinning alien graphic with a Swoosh for a mouth encircled by a repeating Nike print — making for a fitting finishing touch on this galactic duo.

The Nike Air Max 270 React ENG and React Presto Alien are both available on the Nike webstore now, with the 270 React priced at $180 USD and the Presto at $140 USD.
